HOW TO MAKE LASTING IMPACT

Every one of us has a desire to be seen, known, heard and influence others around us and there is nothing really wrong with those desire. However, the intention behind your desires matters a lot. If you have positive intentions your desire will gravitate towards making positive impact, if you don’t have good intentions, your desires will gravitate towards doing things that will give mostly you instant gratification without the desire to impact others positively and if you don’t tame your desires they may cause you to do things that may affect you in the long run. 

There are many ways to do exploits and influence others in life and the route you take will determine if you will be able to remain strong during the process, run the race and last till the end whilst remaining relevant. The world has many options you can pick from that if you religiously act on you can produce results that may give you the exposure and influence you desire but it will be at the expense of something. You need to loose something to gain something.

One thing I know is that every good and perfect gift comes only from God anything you gain in life be it wealth, fame, influence or exposure that is not for God will never last. At the beginning it may seem like you have everything at your back and call but trust me there are consequences that await you at the end of it all. You may enjoy the wealth, fame and influence now but at some point, something will definitely happen that will make you lose it all and start back from ground zero. 

Haven’t you heard of wealthy men and women who seemed to have it all but ended up committing suicide? It’s not just about starting something or gaining the wealth, power and influence. There should be a purpose bigger than that that should drive your pursuit. The Bible in Daniel 11:32 says the people that know their God shall be strong and do exploits.

If you want to make lasting impact in the lives of others and do great exploits in life you need to know God personally, there is a knowledge you need to attain about God that will give you access to wealth, power, fame, influence, love etc that will last till the end of time. Spending time knowing about God will reveal his character to you, it will help you know the ways God uses through his word to lift men and give them the grace to last. When you know God, you will gain a certain kind of confidence and boldness in life that will make you strong to overcome all the challenges that will come your way as you are pursuing that path of destiny.

There is no man in the Bible that walked with God, that knew God, that didn’t have lasting impact in the lives of others. Everything you are looking for is found in God. Take a moment to wait in his presence, seek to know him genuinely and he will empower you with strength, power and influence that will shake the world and give glory to his name because your life will be an evidence of what God can do. So if you desire to make lasting impact, make out time to know God genuinely and personally.
