WHY YOU NEED TO BE SERIOUS ABOUT KNOWING GOD AND GROWING SPIRITUALLY

To begin with satan knows that many of us believers are not very intentional about knowing God for ourselves and understanding the methods God uses when he deals with mankind. We know God blesses, favors, heals, prospers, lifts but we haven’t spent time to know through his word how he does that. Though many of us confess knowing and loving God with our mouths many of us don’t dedicate time to know God and this makes us ignorant of many things that pertain the life of the spirit.

Satan isn’t foolish, he knows there are certain things  or temptations that if he brought your way, you wouldn’t even blink or fall for them. So he capitalizes on your ignorance and open doors, opportunities and brings certain breakthroughs that look so good in order to deceive you and derail your focus from God and the path that God has set for you that is meant to lead you to fulfill your purpose and destiny.

The other thing that Satan uses to his advantage is the fact that though many of us desire to become successful, we don’t know how to handle success when it come and we don’t build enough inner capacity to help us deal with success when it eventually arrives. So the moment success comes our way, Satan slowly starts to expose you to many things that starts dealing with your ego and before you know it pride starts to kick in and you start thinking you got to where you are on your own and you don’t need God any more.

If Satan tried to bring failure, lack and challenges yours way and non of those succeeded in drawing you away from God, he will try using these two. This is why it is important that you take the health of your spiritual life very seriously. The devil doesn’t rest when it comes to bringing the downfall of men, you too shouldn’t be casual with how you take matters of your life and destiny.

Knowing God and building a personal relationship with God exposes you to know different dimensions of God, there is a way you won’t be easily swayed and deceived when you know God because you will be able to differentiate any appearances that look like they are from God but not from him and those that are genuinely from God. It requires you getting to a certain depth in the spirit for you to stay put and have unwavering focus in your journey to fulfilling your God given purpose and assignment.
